The Glastonbury Shrine

The Shrine Church of Our Lady of Glastonbury serves as the heart of a vibrant Catholic community located in Glastonbury, Street, and the surrounding villages. It is the Diocesan Shrine of Our Lady, where she is venerated as the Mother of God. An annual Diocesan Pilgrimage to the Shrine takes place each year.

The Church is situated on Magdalene Street, directly across from the ruins of Glastonbury Abbey.

The Shrine also has a Facebook page for more information and updates.

Message from Fr Mark

As I continue into my 21st year as a priest in the Clifton Diocese, I thank Bishop Bosco for this new opportunity and appointment to be parish priest and to look after St Mary’s and St Michael’s. I am looking forward to being a pilgrim of hope alongside you and getting to know both communities over the coming years and building on the work of Fr Dominic and his predecessors began. Together may we have the vision, energy and faithfulness in prayer and rise to the challenge to bring new life to our communities. I am ready to serve you with joy in my heart - please keep me in your prayers. Pax et bonum
