New Image for our website

The Glastonbury Shrine Website will shortly be presented with a new image.
The picture above gives a preview of our 'new look'.

Our website is now 10 years old, having been developed as an initiative 
for the 2nd Millennium of Our Lord, with the intention of opening our lovely 
 
Shrine of Our Lady St Mary of Glastonbury
 
to the world at large, via the internet 

The Shrine of Our Lady of Glastonbury is not only an historical place of Pilgrimage, 
it is also a thriving Parish of the 21st Century and, to date, little provision 
has been made in the website for our own parishioners.

Our new website will therefore have two sectors to visit; 
one for "The Shrine" and one for "The Parish"

The Shrine pages will continue in the tradition of Pilgrimage, providing all the current information and features, and as much more as we are able, particularly for 
our pilgrim visitors. 

The new Parish pages will concentrate mainly on the needs of parishioners, keeping them 
  up-to-date with all the news and events in the life of the Parish, the Deanery and the Diocese,      which hitherto has only been available in printed matter, posters etc. in the church. 

Our anticipated schedule for the launch of the new image is late August.
We may have some "teething troubles" and would ask our visitors to bear with us, 
if that should be the case.

We do hope that visitors and parishioners alike will enjoy the new website.
We will provide an opportunity for feedback, if you should wish to make any 
comments or observations.
