A new cross has been made for the Walk of Witness. We meet for a short joint service for Good Friday led by Rev Ev Ridout at the United Reformed Church, situated at the top of the High Street, starting at 10.00am. Afterwards, at about 10.30am, we gather outside in silence and walk round the town stopping to pray at a number of places before finishing at St John’s C of E Church in the High Street. Between the Shrine of Our Lady of Glastonbury and St Benedict’s C of E Church we will go through Morrisons Car Park. Any with less mobility may wish to go to St Benedict’s via Heritage Court instead.
